Are you on Insider Builds or the Public Build. Insider is up to 17040.1000 and the Public is at 16299.64
Edit: You should go to ASUS and check for firmware updates for the motherboard. If Windows 10 is not there select the latest available like Windows 8.1 and it might help with the USB problems.
Many ways to see what Build you are on, for Public Build or Insider you can hold the Win Logo Key and hit the R key on the keyboard to open the Run Dialog box and type winver.exe then hit the Enter key or click on OK and the Build Number info will be in a small window that looks something like the image below.
With Insider Builds the Build is displayed on the lower right of the screen so it is an easy one to know.
Edit: I checked my Release Preview Build and it looks like the Troubleshooter is the same for Public and Insider.
So to run the Troubleshooter if you have not done that yet Go to Settings/Update & Security/Troubleshooter tab then in the right column you might have to scroll down to see the Hardware and Devices. Click on that and run the troubleshooter.
